Home > Email Bounce Rate
The Email Bounce Rate represents the number of rejected, temporary (soft bounce) and permanent (hard bounce) emails. The Bounce Rate is calculated as follows:
Number of rejected emails
Number of emails sent
Accepted Rate and Bounce Rate per industry
The Bounce Rate is an important rate to take into account. You obviously do not want to increase this, but rather decrease it. The two most important tips to reduce your Email Bounce Rate is to ensure that you use a good, segmented database and make sure that your email is not too large. By sending a heavy email, the mailbox of your users can designate this as SPAM and that is of course not the intention. Always test your email thoroughly before sending it out.
